The progression :

G, G, G, G, C, C, G, G, D, D:|

Here's when the going get's tough
Your'e supposed to play the intro melodi and rhythm at the same time FAST.
This is the way i try do it,take it or leave it!
                                       G-rhythm(The banjo answers)
e----3-----3---3---3---3---3---3--3---|-----
B----0-----0---0---0---0---0---0--0---|-----
G----0-----0---0---0---0---0---0--0---|-----
D------------------------0------------|-----
A-----------0----2---3-------3---2----|-----
E--3----3-----------------------------|-----

Then play the same idea thruogh the whole progression
Now please give a suggestion to a way to do the banjo rolls on guitar!!!

Listen to the recording by Eric Weisberg (banjo) and Steve mandel (guitar) on
the album named "Duelling banjos" (also released as "New dimensions in banjo
and bluegrass")on Elektra(Eks 7238 vinyl).
Dueling banjos is not the fastest tune on the album!!

On eletric i play the banjo strum something like this( pick and fingers, tele
style) let all string ring as long as possible (indacated with ===)

     G
  e-------------------------------------------
  B----------------3===--------5---------3====
  G-----------0========--------5--0===========
  D----------4-h-5=====-5====--5--4-h-5====5==
  A-------------------------------------------
  E-------------------------------------------
Right hand         3           3         3
             2                 2 2
             p(pick)   p       p p          p

Any suggestions and corrections are welcome.
If my english is off please tell me!
